Steamed Silken Tofu

Steamed Silken Tofu

Main ingredients
  1. a piece of beancurd (200g-300g) (get those for steaming) 
  2. dried shrimps
  3. minced meat
Sauce
  1. 3 tbsp water/stock
  2. 1/4 tsp brown sugar
  3. 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  4. a bit of ground white pepper
  5. 1/2 tsp corn starch
  6. 1/2 tsp dark soy sauce*
Directions
  1. Boil shrimps and minced meat together
  2. Steam tofu over high heat for 5 minutes. Drain away the liquid from steaming tofu.
  3. Boil ingredients for sauce. Pour over the cooked tofu, shrimps and minced meat.
*If you don't want the sauce to be thick, then omit the corn starch.
